POCKETbliin MapView and new Trips pane

Just released a new version of POCKETbliin (V0.9.15) in which we made a start with MapView. Now you can switch from RadarView to a representation of content on an actual streetmap. For now we are using OpenStreetMap as a basemap. OSM is currently bussy importing their newly received streetmaps from AND (read more) but when this is done, all users in the Netherlands should receive excellent map data in POCKETbliin. You can think of the next features that we will be implementing in the near future … did i hear somebody say ‘Zoom’ ??

Also on bliin.com we’ve made a bottom content panel with new Trips in it. Have a look and create your own Trips. We have noticed a little bug in Trips playback: on the maximum zoomlevel, the tripline may not draw. We think this is a bug in the Google API … not sure. We have also noted that some functionality of Trip playback is not (yet ?) functional in Safari’s new beta 3 release. We will keep an eye on this to see how it develops.

Check out POCKETbliin 0.9.15 release notes for additional information on our new release.

For now, with kind
bliin team
